Packing, customs clearance and shipping of seals and plastic parts

Hänssler’s own production takes place exclusively at Mannheim. All production parts bear the country of origin Germany. In addition, merchandise from renowned suppliers with worldwide production sites is offered.

As a reliable partner, we always ensure that Hänssler products arrive where they are urgently needed. This could be a production hall in northern Germany or a repair facility in South America. Our staff in customs and logistics departments ensure at all times that transport and customs clearance run smoothly. To this end, the necessary documentation for international shipping and customs clearance is obtained and, on request, certificates of origin, long-term supplier’s declarations and supplier’s declarations are prepared for you.

Documents for export – invoice, delivery bill, export accompanying document

We are happy to prepare everything for the international shipment of your goods. After the creation of the delivery bills and the invoice or proforma invoice for export, the ATLAS export declaration (IAA Plus) for the receipt of the export accompanying documents and the MRN number usually takes place. Upon request, all documents for your import will be sent to you in advance as a PDF.

Movement certificate EUR. 1 and A.TR for seals and plastic parts

In order to obtain customs benefits (preferences), we will issue you with the movement certificate EUR.1 or A.TR if possible. Please get in touch with our contact persons in the support & services team.

Your proof of origin: IHK certificate of origin, supplier’s declaration & Co.

Unbureaucratic international trade is essential in times of raw material shortages and bottlenecks along supply chains. For export to a maximum number of countries, the exact documentation of the “origin” is absolutely necessary. On request, we can prepare a single supplier declaration or long-term supplier declaration for your purchases using modern customs software. Thanks to the always up-to-date preference calculation / calculation of origin, the originating status is reliably proven. For almost any goods, we can also request a certificate of origin from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Customs tariff number and country of origin of plastic parts and seals

On your Hänssler invoice and delivery bill, the customs tariff number and country of origin of goods can be indicated if desired. If you already have a Hänssler item whose details you require subsequently, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Packing and packaging material

In addition to maximum protection of the plastic components and seals to be shipped, our focus is on the environmental compatibility of the packaging material. Therefore, we rely on environmentally friendly packaging and appropriate filling material that can be recycled after use and fed into the circular economy. Filigree and particularly heavy turned parts and milled parts made of plastic, as well as seals, are often packaged separately by our specialist staff in order to achieve maximum protection. Many seals are also usually packed in special bags to protect them from UV radiation in order to slow down the aging process as much as possible.
