Since 1986, we have specialised in the manufacture of seals and gaskets for a wide range of applications in mechanical and process engineering. We provide precise solutions that are tailored to your specific installation environment and operating conditions, encompassing standard profiles and customised solutions developed in collaboration with our clients.
One of our key advantages is that you will be assigned a dedicated contact person. This person will be able to provide technical insights, clarify questions in a structured manner, and ensure that changes to the project are properly tracked. This allows the sealing concept to be adapted to new circumstances in an iterative process without any loss of information.
Seals and gaskets according to technical drawings
You provide the necessary drawings or CAD data, and we will take responsibility for the technical implementation, including the successful completion of reproducible series production. During the process, we verify the geometry, installation conditions, and manufacturability. This includes notes on tolerances, edges, radii, joining/assembly concepts, and potential weak points. Our rigorous quality assurance programme guarantees that the specified characteristics and tolerances are consistently adhered to at every stage of the process.
Special Materials
Should a special material be required, our engineers will work closely with you to select the most appropriate material, ensuring that the seal performs reliably in the medium, during temperature fluctuations, and under dynamic conditions. We meticulously select materials and compounds to ensure chemical compatibility with a wide range of substances, including acids, alkalis, oils, fuels, cleaning and process chemicals. These materials are engineered to withstand thermal cycles and temperature spikes, while maintaining mechanical and tribological stability. Depending on the application, we also take into account approvals such as KTW-BWGL for drinking water or Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 for food contact.
In order to ensure the reliability of material recommendations, the following is required:
- Medium + concentrations (including additives, cleaning media, and alternating media)
- Temperature and pressure profile (including peaks, cycles, heating/cooling ramps)
- Motion data including lubrication conditions (stroke, speed, frequency, dry-running portion)
- Requirements for service life, maintenance, permissible leakage, wear limits
- Information on mating surfaces (material, hardness, roughness, coating)
- Assembly/joining concept (installation direction, edges, tools, pre-assembly)
In addition to our standard range of seals and gaskets, we also manufacture extra-large seals and gaskets. These include large-scale seals for gearboxes and generators, sealing elements for large hydraulic cylinders in power generation applications, and dynamic seals in swivel and rotary joints for heavy-duty vehicles and demanding systems.
Special materials and custom profiles are also available for large dimensions. This is particularly relevant in the following situations:
- The temperature and or pressure levels are high.
- The media are aggressive or variable.
- Installation is challenging due to weight, installation space and insertion conditions.
- High availability and long service life are required.

These include the medium, temperature, pressure, installation space, surfaces, and mounting conditions. Our experts will review these points at the outset, identify typical sources of error (e.g. improper compression, incorrect mating surfaces, unfavourable edges, dry running) and iteratively adapt the sealing concept as changes arise. This approach helps to minimise failures, eliminate unnecessary back-and-forth communication, and expedite the identification of a reliable, operational solution.
